(...) Plus on s’élève dans la superstructure étatique, plus les armes — leur possession par les citoyens et leur port — apparaissent comme inacceptables. Aucun État totalitaire n’a jamais laissé ses ressortissants s’armer, précisément parce qu’un contrôle total sur les cœurs et les esprits présuppose des individus vulnérables et qui ont donc besoin d’être protégés. L’État voit toujours d’un œil au mieux méfiant, au pire franchement hostile, le fait que de simples individus puissent s’armer et se défendre, et ce en dépit des professions de foi démocratiques dont on nous abreuve à longueur d’année électorale.

Or les journalistes français sont aujourd’hui, en tout sauf en nom, de véritables fonctionnaires. Ils jouissent d’avantages fiscaux garantis par l’État et d’un pouvoir d’influence qu’ils mettent généralement au service du plus fort. Ils frayent avec les élites politiques et économiques, leurs journaux et leurs chaînes de télé sont grassement subventionnés avec l’argent du contribuable, quand ils ne sont pas purement et simplement « publics » ; ils sont donc de facto les agents sinon de l’État, du moins des puissances d’argent et des pouvoirs qui soutiennent ce dernier. Lorsqu’ils critiquent les armes d’une seule voix, ils ne font donc que défendre leur propre intérêt : l’édification d’une société aux ordres. (...)

Le raisonnement est pertinent pour la presse, particulièrement en ex-France. Mais comment expliquer la fascination de leur discours sur des intellos gauchistes fauchés, pas du tout intégrés dans la structure du pouvoir, petites mains bénévoles de l'ensalopage ethnoculturel généralisé ? Des éléments chez AltRight :

In a 1994 research paper titled “Sex and Guns: Is Gun Control Male Control?” Canadian sociologist H. Taylor Buckner documented three surveys he conducted of his undergraduate students concerning their attitudes on guns and gun control. He concluded that:

…students who were pro gun control were also pro homosexual, pro censorship of pornography, and not experienced with guns.

and that:

…men and women have different patterns of motivation for being pro gun control. The men who favor gun control are those who reject traditional male roles and behavior. They are opposed to hunting, are pro homosexual, do not have any experience with or knowledge of guns and tend to have “politically correct” attitudes. The women who support gun control do so in the context of controlling male violence and sexuality. Gun control is thus symbolic of a realignment of the relation between the sexes.(...)
